Valleys Web Co is run by Aaron Hughes, a sole trader. This notice explains what we do with the details you give us. If you have any questions, email info@valleyswebco.co.uk.
What we collect
When you fill in the form on this website, we receive your name, business name and trade, phone number, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your email address, the area you cover, or a link to your Facebook page or Google listing. If you email or message us, we receive what you send.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to you, to build the free sample website you asked for, and, if you become a customer, to provide our service and take payment. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to do this before entering into a contract with us, and, for customers, to perform that contract.
We don't sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted services to run the business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox
- Zoho, which provides our email
- Stripe, which handles payments for customers
Some of these services may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data transfers.
How long we keep it
If you don't become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep your details while you're a customer and for as long as the law requires afterwards, for example for tax records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Just email info@valleyswebco.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
